New Mindsurfer Studio
I'm building a new studio and would like to show you some parts of my work.
Information about the room:
3.8m x 3.8m x 2.20m, square room. Small and square rooms can be quite difficult to handle, it's really important to start with a good concept of the design and choosing the right materials.

In my case i decided to use Homatherm FlexCL and Homatherm HolzFlex as the insulation material. The reason is:
- flexCL is made of cellulose (old newspapers) and Holzflex is recycleted wood.
- It's harmless for the health and shouldn't cause any allergic reactions.
- It's natural and reasonable in ecologically view!
- The density of the material is perfect to use in acoustic room. 70-90 kg/m3 for FlexCL

Day 1:
Building the frames for corner and wall absorbers!

I used MDF, because it's very stable, easy to paint and quite cheap!

Day 2:
I built 12 frames for the front/back and sidewalls and 4 basstraps to put into the corners!

It's important to cut the wood to it's perfect size, because otherwise the insulation is goint to bent or even fall out.
I was lucky to had the right sizes! :D It just works perfectly!

This is the front of the studio, where I put the most of the absorbers to have clean low frequencies in the hearing position!

Day 3:
Painting!!

Day 4:
